By sharing your special occasion with us at Unity you have also graced the sanctuary or lobby with beautiful flowers and provided a creative oportunity for a floral designer in our flower ministry. Haven’t ever ordered flowers? Want to make a loved one feel special? It’s really easy to do. Just call or stop by the church office with a Sunday date and occasion in mind. The cost for the floral arrangement, created by one of the designers in the ministry, is $30.00. Your celebration is acknowledged in the Sunday Highlights announcements and the PowerPoint slide show before services, and the flowers are displayed in the sanctuary or lobby. The occasion is celebrated by all and, of course, the arrangement is yours to take home to enjoy after the second service.
The Flower Ministry is a volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in floral design. Jackie Bennett, retired Master Floral Designer and leader of the Flower Ministry, can teach you design techniques, the use of colors and shapes, and the how-to of floral arrangements. Interested? You are invited!
