Green Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the Green Committee of the Unity of Prescott is to research and share with the staff and congregation understandings and actions that demonstrate our caring and respect for the sustainable balance of nature and the sanctity of creation now and in the future.

EarthCare Vision Statement

The EarthCare vision of Unity of Prescott is to promote conscious awareness of our oneness with creation and understanding of our place in the interdependent web of all existence. We seek to learn about, act upon, and share with others, new behaviors of our personal and congregational lives that demonstrate our caring, respect, and stewardship for the sustainable balance of nature and the sanctity of creation.

Your Green Committee and Board of Trustees are working to become certified as a Unity EarthCare church. We strive to turn this verse from Genesis into practical Christianity: Genesis 2:15, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and care for it.”
