“I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.”
Albert Schweitzer
There are many reasons why people serve in their community: you can make a difference, you can give back, it gives you a chance to learn, it strengthens the community, it is good for your personal growth, you gain experience, you help others, it saves resources, and it is very good for you.
VolunteerMatch, an international on-line service that helps volunteers and nonprofits make a connection, found these to be the main reasons people want to serve. Are you looking for a rewarding experience? Are you available 2 to 4 hours a month? Then check out my own volunteer/match.

Where would we be without our volunteers? Business professionals, retired seniors, students — you have all stepped out of your busy lives to make time for enhancing the ministry at Unity of Prescott.
Thank you, to all our volunteers who have made Unity a priority in their lives. We are truly grateful to have such a large and gifted group of people who are so committed to our ministry.
