A Message from Rev. Tom

Happenings Around Unity

Welcome to our new newsletter.  We have decided that a monthly newsletter would be more current and up to date than the every-other-month format. At the same time Genna is updating the look and feel of the newsletter. We hope that it makes for better communication.  Let us know what you think.

April was a busy month. As I write this, we have had a lovely Easter celebration and I think that most of you would agree that the choir is sounding better all the time. We have begun our Adventure in Spirit program using the book Wisdom Walk, and we are exploring a spiritual theme from each of seven spiritual traditions. And by the time you get this, we will have had our annual meeting. We are pleased that the nominating committee has nominated Anne Tewksbury to fill the spot vacated by Sandy Walker. Sandy is becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher in April and we are very proud of her.

Also on the Board front, our good news is that the Board appointed Terry Barns to serve the remainder of Bob Simpson’s term, and it is already clear that Terry will bring a lot to the Board. Bob has moved to Sedona and is doing well.

The good news for Earth day was the fact that the Green Committee raised the entire amount needed for the solar panel installation in one month. The panels will be installed in May.

We are looking forward to summer. We thank you all for your generous support and loving participation. We are blessed.

In the Spirit,
Rev Tom
